Shreveport Green with Parity Platforms

What Clean Caddo collects, why, who can see it, and how long it is kept.
Who we are
Clean Caddo is a litter reporting and volunteer cleanup program run by Shreveport Green in Caddo Parish, Louisiana. Parity Platforms builds and operates the platform for Shreveport Green under a written agreement. Shreveport Green owns the program's records. In this notice, "we" means the two together.
What we collect
If you report litter
- Where the litter is, from the location your phone shares with us.
- A photo of the litter. We remove its location, camera and time details before anyone sees it, and keep only a resized copy.
- A note, if you add one.
- Your email address, only if you give one, for updates on your report.
You do not need an account to report litter. Anyone who has a report's private tracking link can see that report's status and location, so keep the link to yourself.
If you have an account
- Your email address and a password, or your Google sign-in.
- The name you give when you join a program.
- Your role and access in the program, and a record of changes to it: who approved you, when, and why.
- Your mobile number and texting consent, if you turn texts on. The text message privacy notice covers these in full.
- If you volunteer: that you confirmed you are 18 or older and accepted the participation and safety agreement (which version, and when), and the home ZIP code, travel distance and usual free times you give so staff can choose who gets a cleanup offer. We keep the ZIP code and its center point, never your street address.
When you use the site
- A sign-in cookie that keeps you signed in. We use no advertising or analytics cookies, and we do not track you on other sites.
- To limit how many reports can be sent, a keyed fingerprint of your network address and of any email address you give, or of your volunteer account if you are signed in as one. The address itself is not stored in these records.
- A Cloudflare Turnstile check on the report form, which confirms a person is sending it. Cloudflare receives your network address and browser details to do this.
Google sign-in
If you sign in with Google, Google shares your name, email address and profile picture with us. We use your email address to sign you in and match you to your invitation. The name and picture stay in our sign-in provider's record and are not used by the app. We do not ask for access to your Gmail, contacts, files or calendar, and we do not share what Google gives us with anyone else.
Clean Caddo's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs follows the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
We keep your Google email address, encrypted in transit and protected by the same access rules as the rest of your account, for as long as you have an account. When your account is deleted, what we received from Google is deleted with it, within 30 days of your request. We never use Google user data for advertising, sell it, or use it to train artificial intelligence models.
You can remove Clean Caddo's access at any time from your Google account permissions. To delete what we received from Google, ask us to delete your account (see Your choices).
Why we use it
- To receive, review and track litter reports.
- To let staff invite and approve volunteers and manage the program.
- To send the emails and texts you asked for: invitations, sign-in messages, and, if you turned them on, texts about the program.
- To keep the service secure and working.
We do not sell your information, and we do not share it with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.
Who can see it
- Shreveport Green staff who run the program. They see reports, volunteer records and the contact details they need to do that work.
- Parity Platforms, to operate and support the platform.
- Companies that run parts of the service for us and may use the information only to do that: Supabase (database and sign-in), Vercel (hosting), Resend (email), Twilio (texts), Cloudflare (report form check), Trigger.dev (photo processing), MapTiler (maps, the street address near your location or a spot on the map, and the center of a volunteer's home ZIP code) and Google (sign-in, if you choose it).
Nothing you send is shown publicly during the beta.
How long we keep it
- A resident's email address: deleted when the report's tracking link expires, 30 days after the report reaches a final decision.
- Report records, including the precise location but not your email address: for as long as Shreveport Green runs the program with Parity Platforms.
- A volunteer's mobile number, home ZIP code and usual free times: deleted within 90 days after they leave or are removed. Texting consent records: four years after the last text.
- Report photos: deleted 90 days after a report is turned down, or 90 days after it is closed without a cleanup. Photos of spots that were cleaned up are kept for as long asShreveport Green runs the program with Parity Platforms. A photo that cannot be processed is deleted within a day. You can ask for a photo to be removed, for example if it shows a person or a car plate.
- Our database provider keeps short-term backups, which expire on their own.
Your choices
- Report litter without an account and without giving an email address.
- Stop report updates, or have your email removed from a report, by writing to contact@parityplatforms.com.
- Turn texts off in your account, or reply STOP to any text.
- Ask to see, correct or delete your information by writing to contact@parityplatforms.com. We answer within 7 days and finish within 30. When a volunteer asks for their record to be deleted, Shreveport Green either deletes it or makes it anonymous so their past cleanup totals still count.
Coming during the beta
Before any of these start, this notice will be updated to say what is collected and how long it is kept:
- Emails about your report's progress.
- Photos of completed cleanups, taken by volunteers.
- Cleanup offers, completions and estimated bag weight for volunteers.
- Volunteer rewards.
- Error reporting, run by a new service provider.
Security
The contact details the program keeps, such as residents' email addresses and volunteers' phone numbers, are encrypted in the database. Access is limited by role and every privileged action is recorded. Connections to the site are encrypted.
Children
Volunteer and staff accounts are for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you believe a child has sent us information, write to us and we will delete it.
Changes and contact
If this notice changes in a way that affects you, we will say so on this page before the change takes effect. Questions go to contact@parityplatforms.com.
